Targeting both laboratory and manufacturing environments, the WinCamD three-dimensional, CCD-beam intensity profiler provides pixel sizes of 4.65 µm2, said to be one of the smallest in the industry. An integrated a/d converter allows for over 16,000 levels of intensity resolution within the profiler's compact sensor head. Functions include pass/fail settings for beam width, relative power, Gaussian and top hat fit, and data logging. The component can be used for pulsed continuous-wave beams, pulsed down to 1 Hz. And a variable electronic shutter provides a dynamic range of 60,000:1 (48 dB). Price starts at $4,250. MELLES GRIOT, Irvine, CA. (800) 835-2626.
