LCDs ranging from single line displays to units with dual controllers and multiple lines of text can be interfaced by the module, which provides both control and display power from the USB port. And an efficient display sub-system for use in multiple standalone or system-type data acquisition and control applications reportedly can be built by adding USB OTG.
