Based on an 18.1", SXGA 1280 x 1024-pixel color TFT LCD, Clarity-18 series of flat panel display systems comes in three configurations: one flat panel computer and two flat panel monitors. With its SXGA resolution, 200-nit brightness and 16.7 million colors, the displays are well-suited for applications requiring clear detail and high visibility. They are available with an optional resistive touch-screen and NEMA 12 front mounted plate. The computer version is powered by a 233-MHz Pentium MMX processor and also has up to 128M RAM, 2.2 GB hard drive, and full PC functionality. This open-frame system is ready for mounting in users' enclosure and provides four PISA expansion slots, 10/100BaseT Ethernet and two USB ports. The monitors come in analog (VAMP) and digital (FP-Kit) interface versions. The VAMP connects to a standard DB15 connector, as would a CRT, and the FP-Kit interfaces to a PCbus platform.
