Electronic and consumer products, sporting goods, and safety equipment and signage can all be made to glow in the dark with compounds that blend together phosphorescent pigments and elastomeric, acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS, or polypropylene materials. The glow-in-the-dark precolored compounds come in a wide range of pastel colors, such as green, pink, peach, blue and cream. The compounds are said to display surprising new daylight colors--hot pink and vivid green, for example--that differ from their color in darkness.
