ARB Boasts Of High Bandwidth & Pulse Capability

May 1, 2000

The 33250A 80-MHz arbitrary waveform generator (ARB) with pulse capability is claimed to offer twice the bandwidth of competing products in its price range. Using direct digital synthesis techniques, users can create a stable, accurate output on all waveforms down to 1 µHz. In addition to waveforms, the instrument can also generate simple pulses up to 50 MHz. Other features include a 200-Ms/s sampling rate, a 12-bit vertical resolution, 64-k point memory depth, user-friendly front panel, high-resolution display, TCXO timebase with a frequency accuracy of 1 ppm per year, built-in help system, and both GPIB and RS-232 interfaces. Price for the 33250A is $4250.
