Representing new members of the Waverunner series of color digital storage oscilloscopes (DSOs), the LT364 and LT364L 500-MHz DSOs extend the series' sampling rate range from 200 Ms/s to 1 Gs/s. The new DSOs are four-channel instruments that enable the sample rate to be doubled to 1 Gs/s and the memory length to 500 kpoints on the LT364 and 2 Mpoints on LT364L. This is achieved by interleaving the DSOs' ADCs and memories when the user activates only one or two of the scopes' four channels.
Standard features of the new DSOs include the company's Analog Persistence mode, an 8.4" color TFT display, a spectrum analysis package, floppy-disk drive, and GPIB, RS-232, Centronics, and PCMCIA Type III interfaces. An advanced optical recording package is also available. Pricing for the LT364 and LT364L is $10,990 and $15,990, respectively, with delivery from four to six weeks ARO.
