New compact LCDs (4" and 5.6" on the diagonal) accept 1Vp-p NTSC composite signals for DVD players and for aircraft, cars, SUVS, and boats. Other applications include miniature TVs, security systems, and readouts for GPS systems. The 4" display features a resolution of 442 x 238 pixels, a size of 110 x 92 x 26 mm, and a weight of 180g. The 5.6" model has a resolution of 960 x 234, measures 139 x 104 x 22 mm and weighs 280g. Both models allow adjustment of brightness, color, tint, and volume. And both require a 12V input voltage and consume just a few watts.
