Feb. 1, 2001

The Triton series of flat-panel displays (FPDs) and intelligent operator interfaces are designed for use in harsh, explosion hazard zones. The devices are claimed to be matched to outdoor computer applications in areas that are designated Class I, Division 2 by Factory Mutual and CSA, and meet NEMA 4 and IP 66 criteria. Among several versions available, the 15.1" color panels provide an XGA resolution of 1,024 x 768, said to be a first in the targeted environments. The displays are priced starting at $6,995 with delivery times ranging from four to six weeks ARO.
