The DA2005 insulation tester performs resistance measurements from 0 to 100,000 MegaOhms at 2,500V on a dual-range analog scale plus output-HV monitoring on its 3.5-digit LCD. Accordingly, measurements displayed on the dual-scale meter are indicated on the appropriate scale via a corresponding, flashing red or green LED. The instrument emits an audible alarm as well as visual indications when high voltage is applied and is equipped with internal battery checking capabilities. It meets IEC 1010-1 and Cat II, 5,000V safety standards and includes a high-voltage probe.
