Taking direct aim at the traditional bench scope market is a family of virtual digital oscilloscopes which provide the basic scope functions of signal capture and processing. The VDS (Virtual Digital Scope) and its derivative, the VMS (Virtual Mixed Scope) provide all the functions of a traditional bench scope without compromises. The VDS or VMS is a peripheral unit that provides the basic scope functions. All other functions such as display, measurement, analysis and documentation are done in the PC with a standard Windows-based software package.
Several units can be connected to any PC, including a portable one, via the serial port or a USB cable, thus yielding four or more synchronized scope channels. Bandwidth is 150 MHz.
