Digital Surge Tester Detects Faults

The device is designed to accurately detect faults in various wound products, including stators, transformers, chokes, solenoids and fields. Winding problems such as turn-to-turn shorts, coil-to-coil shorts, winding-to-winding shorts and phase-to-phase shorts, as well as open-circuit and ground faults can be detected.
