A pair of powerful color tools, designed for measuring, comparing and filtering desired or unwanted colors in an image, allows VisionBlox 3.0 to display machine vision in full color. These vision tools have been specifically designed for use in machine vision applications, with the capability of taking more than 250,000 color measurements in milliseconds, it's claimed. Version 3.0 offers two of these color tools, the color meter and the color filter. The color meter tool supports the statistical operations needed to undertake color comparison and is designed to compare colors against one another. The color filter provides the machine vision system with the capability of filtering various hues within an input image. The filter is programmed by selecting colors to be filtered directly from a grabbed image.
