The PHASEFLEX microwave coaxial-test assemblies can now achieve frequency ranges of up to 67 GHz. At the same time, they remain durable, exceptionally lightweight, and flexible. These ruggedized assemblies provide for excellent phase and amplitude stability with flexure. The result is a line of products that effectively combines the electrical advantages of an expanded PTFE dielectric with an integrated environmental protection system.

The PHASEFLEX assemblies are intended for use in production-test applications. They also target applications in which the test area is not located in the vicinity of the equipment. In addition, they are well suited for vector-network-analyzer (VNA) setups. In this scenario, frequent measurements must be performed. The PHASEFLEX assemblies can ease this burden by offering a power-handling capability with low phase change. This capability permits accurate and repeatable measurements without forcing the user to perform time-consuming calibrations between each measurement.

Compared to traditional test assemblies, PHASEFLEX cable assemblies are made to be highly flexible. In fact, the internally ruggedized design allows for a 1-in. (2.5-cm) minimum bend radius without affecting the cable performance. And there is virtually no springback.

The PHASEFLEX text assemblies are now available. Phase-matched, temperature-stable, and replaceable-interface options can be purchased in configurations operating from DC to 67 GHz. Off-the-shelf standard configurations are available to ship within two days. Contact the company directly for pricing information.
