PoCL Frame Grabber Supports 64-bit Addressing

April 2, 2009
The PCIe-CPL64 frame grabber supports the power over camera link (PoCL) standard and 64-bit applications.

The PCIe-CPL64 frame grabber supports the power over camera link (PoCL) standard and 64-bit applications. By supporting the extended memory space of 64-bit operating systems such as the 64-bit editions of Windows XP/Vista, the grabber suits large address space vision apps such as flat panel display, LCD, and solar cell surface inspections. It provides two base configuration channels with data transfer rates up to 4 Gb/s and pixel clock rates up to 85 MHz, two TTL/LVDS trigger inputs to synchronize the image acquisition process with an external encoder or position sensor, and two programmable trigger outputs to manage triggered events such as activating a strobe light. Price for the PCIe-CPL64 is in the low $800s for OEM quantities.
