Polarizers Enhance Display Contrast

Dec. 1, 1998

A high-performance circular polarizing filter, KNCP35 comes in sizes up to 19" wide and in panel, roll and/or reel formats. The polarizers let display manufacturers attain superior contrast enhancement and environmental stability for new or existing displays. The filters also offer high durability, and, as a thin-walled circular polarizer, is easy to laminate. Thickness is 0.007" to permit lamination between glass for military displays. The filter's laminated structure consists of a polyvinylene linear polarizer and a polyvinyl alcohol quarterwave plate.
