Providing viewing angles of more than 160° vertically and horizontally with a high contrast ratio of 300:1, these 15-in. LCDs with firm's multi-domain vertical alignment (MVA) technology are designed for high-end applications as well as desktop monitors. The monitors are said to have a response time of 25 ms and eliminate the need for a rubbing process in manufacturing. And the MVA technology employs liquid crystals with negative dielectric anisotropy and achieves the fast response and high contrast of twisted nematic LCDs.
