Suited for Ti:sapphire pumping and other scientific applications, as well as for use in the entertainment, medical and manufacturing industries, Millennia s Series of high-power, diode-pumped solid-state lasers achieves output power levels of 2W to 10W in a package reportedly 60% smaller than competitive units. The lasers also are said to provide ultra-low optical noise and excellent power stability and beam-pointing performance without the need of a bulky heatsink.Millennia s lasers are factory aligned and sealed, giving users hands-off operation with no adjustment or realignment of the cavity ever required. In addition, next-generation T-tune control software helps optimize system performance over time by assuring that the pump diodes operate at their optimum current and pump wavelength. The lasers require 110V or 220V single-phase power and permit control via a RS-232 port or optional digital remote operation.
