The Dash 18 is reported to be the industry's first portable data-acquisition system (DAQ) with the capability of capturing audio and video data along with synchronized waveforms. The system features a 15.4", 1,280 x 1,024 diagonal monitor, designed for intuitive touch-screen control. Other features include 18 universal input channels, an internal hard-disk drive and a 250 MB Zip drive, and an Ethernet interface.
Designed for applications ranging from process trending to transient capture, the instrument has a data sampling rate of 100 kHz per channel. A split screen display mode allows historical data to be viewed without interruption of real-time acquisitions. On-screen cursors provide timing and amplitude information while allowing instantaneous measurements to be performed.
Included Windows-based software allows data to be uploaded to a PC for review and analysis. An optional chart printer is available and users can design personal formats and grids. Price starts at $18,000.
