Meeting the performance requirements of industrial and medical display applications, the company’s QXGA TFT and monochrome UXGA TFT LCD modules employ its proprietary, super-advanced SFT technology. Based on in-plane switching, ultra-wide viewing angle technology, SFT is said to result in faster response times, improved panel transmissivity, minimized color shift, and wide viewing angles of up to 170°. The NL204153BC21-02 QXGA color display sports a screen size of 433.152 mm x 324.864 mm with a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536. Response time is 25 ms and typical viewing angle is 85°. With a screen size of 433.152 mm x 324.864 mm, the NL204153BM21-01 QXGA monochrome display features a response time of 30 ms, resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels and a view angle of 85°. The NL160120BM27-03 monochrome UXGA display sports a screen size of 432 mm x 324 mm with a 1,600 x 1,200 resolution and a 30 ms response time. View angle is also 85° typical. Sample prices for the NL204153BC21-02, NL204153BM21-01, and NL160120BM27-03 are $2,750, $2550, and $1,500 each, respectively. NEC ELECTRONICS AMERICA INC., Santa Clara, CA. (408)-588-6311.
