For outdoor applications, the company's line of 2.2" TFT LCDs with QCIF+ (176 x 220) resolution are said to be sunlight-readable and offer high brightness, contrast, and color saturation with exceptional transflective properties. Their TFT cells exploit high aperture panel technology, high transmittance color filters, and high transmission polarizers. The sunlight-readable model M1360T021 is illuminated with four white side LEDs and offers a typical brightness of 400 cd/m2. It also employs an LGDP4522 LCD controller and driver.
