The E4892LA LCR meter is designed for manufacturers of passive components, such as SMD inductors and EMI filters, where impedance testing at frequencies of 1 MHz to 3 GHz is required. The unit features 0.8% basic impedance measurement accuracy and repeatable measurements with small measurement variation. It also delivers measurement speeds of 0.9 ms, 2.1 ms or 3.7 ms. The meter’s list measurements make it suitable for both R&D and quality assurance. While offering better performance, the E4829LA remains compatible with the Agilent 4287A LCR meter, including SCPI commands and handler interface functions, allowing customers to leverage earlier investments and expertise in the software. The E4982A LCR meter offers PC connectivity via GPIB, LAN and USB; an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface; a 10.4-in. display; and a compact design of 277 mm. It is priced at $31,487 for 1-MHz to 3-GHz frequency measurements.
