The display lends itself to industrial designs, security cards, programmable card readers, and other audio, video and consumer electronic applications. It provides a wide viewing area of 160° and a response time of 50 µs. The self-emissive display delivers high typical luminance of about 100 to 120 cd/m2. Contract ratio is more than 1000:1 with typical power consumption of less than 150 mW. This area color OLED features a 128 x 16-pixel yellow section and a 128 x 48-pixel light-blue section. The display features the Solomon Systech driver IC that supports 8-/9-bit 6800/8080 parallel or four-wire SPI data interface.
