Promising a cost-effective alternative for users looking to transition monochromatic devices to color, the InfoVue FSC family of color alphanumeric LCD displays report up to 80% cost savings compared to full-color, graphic TFT LCDs. The components also provide fast response times, low power consumption, and they are compatible with standard LCD drivers, The LCDs feature integrated RGB LED backlights that allow for a wide range of color display options, chip-on-glass technology that provides simple color programming with high color saturation performance, and a simplified manufacturing process eliminating the need for color filters, transistors, and brightness enhancement film. The RoHS compliant InfoVue FSC LCDs are available in custom sizes ranging from one inch squared to five inch squared and the alphanumeric segments are available in seven standard colors with a white background or in black with the seven standard colors as background options.
