Providing HDMI, LVDS, HDTV, DVI, and VGA outputs, the mixed-signal CH7033, CH7034, and CH7035 convert/transmit current digital-video formats and interface with a wide range of host processors, particularly ARM mobile processors. The CH7033 video encoder drives external HD video displays using HDMI, DVI, YPbPr, and VGA. Its HDMI/DVI outputs are muxable with VGA/YPbPr outputs via a software control. Handling systems using LVDS encoding, the CH7034 offers simultaneous external analog RGB or component YPrPb outputs. Lastly, the CH7035 embarks as a cost-effective HDMI transmitter. Each device includes a scaling engine supporting HDTV resolutions up to 1080p. The CH7033 and CH7035 also include SPDIF and I2S digital audio outputs. With production volumes available in May, the devices are available in 88-pin QFN packages. The CH7035 is also available in an 81-pin BGA. Prices range from $3.85 to $4.15 each/10,000.
