\[July 20, 2006\] Broadening the company's family of step-up dc/dc converters, the AS1325 with integrated synchronous rectifier operates from a 3V or 5V supply with an efficiency of 96% while delivering up to 300 mA at 5V or 185 mA at 3V. In shutdown mode, the device draws less than 1 µA. In this mode, the battery connects to the output, enabling direct battery feed-through. This allows the battery to provide backup power or perform as a real-time clock supply when the converter is off. The AS1325 is available now in a 6-pin SOT23 package.
