PnP LED Drivers Illuminate LCDs

For use in high-power, high-brightness mid-size LED-backlit displays, the latest range of Smart Force plug-and-play LED drivers measure less than 5-mm high with a footprint of 70.66 mm x 24.4 mm. They support an input voltage range of 3V to 20V and are modifiable to work from 3.3V, 5V, or 12V input voltages with an LED string voltage up to 38.5V and an output current drive of 30 mA x 6 strings. Onboard PWM dimming generates a dimming ratio up to 255:1 via an external 0 to 5V analog voltage. Also, the SFDMD Series modules operate at an efficiency of 90%.
