Medical-approved desktop switching power supplies developed by Advanced Power Solutions offer up to 94% efficiency and less than 0.5 W of no-load power consumption to meet Level V standards. The APS250EMG series comprises three models with single outputs of 12 V at 20 A, 24 V at 12 A, and 48 V at 6 A, all with a universal ac input of 90 to 264 V ac (customized output voltages are available for voltage setpoints ranging from 12 to 54 V dc). The 7.64- by 3.74- by 1.89-mm supplies come with an IEC-320 C14 ac inlet and six-foot dc output cable with a selection of dc connectors. Full-load operating temperature ranges from 0 to 40°C. Protection includes overvoltage and overcurrent.
