Meeting the stringent requirements of EN60601-1 for use in medical equipment, the MPA400Mx series ac/dc power supplies provide 400W of output power in a compact U-Chassis. Seven models operate from a universal input of 90 to 264 Vac with outputs factory set to 3.3, 5, 12, 18, 24, 36, or 48 Vdc. All outputs are user adjustable. Standard features include power factor correction to EN61000-3-2 D, FCC class B emissions, input/output isolation of 3 kVac, and a 20-ms hold-up time. All models provide over load, over voltage, over temperature, and short circuit protection, plus signals for AC Fail, Power Good, and Remote On/Off, as well as a driver output for an external fan. MTBF for the series is greater than 100,000 hours. All models come in a 9" x 5" x 1.6" 1U-high U-Chassis, require 23 CFM of airflow at 400W of output, and operate over a temperature range from 0°C to +70°C ambient. MICROPOWER DIRECT, Stoughton, MA.
