Mercury to Supply RF Environment Simulators to NATO Allies

December 21, 2012. Mercury Defense Systems, an operating subsidiary of Mercury Systems Inc., announced that it has received contracts from two major defense prime contractors to supply high-fidelity RF environment simulators. The RF environment simulators represent some of the latest advancements in simulator technology used by customers to test and validate RF sensors both under development and in production. The combined total of these contracts exceeds $5 million and includes a provision for the acquisition of additional simulators within Mercury’s fiscal 2013.

“These contracts reflect how customers worldwide value our experience and capabilities,” said Kevin Carnino, president of Mercury Defense Systems. “We’re proud of the fact that we’ve delivered the largest number and widest variety of RF simulators in the industry. We thank our customers for recognizing our performance record by supplying them with ultra-reliable equipment. In fact, many of the systems we’ve fielded are still operating after 15 years.”
