RadiMation EMC Software Supports Microsoft .NET

March 25, 2013. DARE!! Instruments has introduced a complete new generation of RadiMation software that is based on the Microsoft .NET development platform. The software works with the company's range of EMC products, covering EMC mainframes and signal generators, LASER powered E-field probes, RF coaxial switches, and RF power meters.

The latest Windows versions like Windows Vista, 7, and 8 support 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. With the Microsoft .NET development framework, RadiMation software can be used on latest Microsoft PC systems, avoiding compatibility problems and ensuring fast and stable software performance.

The RadiMation EMC test software is modular based, with separate test modules for both conducted and radiated emission and immunity testing. Other modules support pulsed immunity (ESD/burst/surge) testing and automatic report generation. The RadiMation software is available as single configuration (one test module), as bundles (combined test modules), as a full package (all test modules) and as a site license. With this modular approach it is possible for the user to configure each individual test PC with the exact functionality that is required. RadiMation EMC test software has an open configuration and can be used for EMC testing to achieve European Directive CE marking or E marking and can also test compliance with military, aerospace, and telecom standards.

The RadiMation EMC test software is open to any brand of EMC test equipment. Software device drivers for all commercially available and supported EMC test equipment are delivered as part of the software, without any additional cost. Device drivers for obsolete EMC equipment can be provided at extra cost.

RadiMation EMC test software includes a flexible and powerful test report generator that enables the user to automatically create EMC test reports in Excel, Word, or ASCII text format. All test data which is gathered in RadiMation software can be merged into the test report template using defined keywords. The layout of the test report is customer configurable using the customer's own letter font and logo. Prior to the report generation process the test engineer can select which tests should be included (or not).
