Measurement Computing Debuts DAQami Software
July 1, 2013. Measurement Computing has announced the prerelease of DAQami out-of-the-box software, which allows users of MCC DAQ hardware to acquire, view, and log data quickly and easily. The fully tested, prerelease version is available as a free download from the MCC website.
DAQami can acquire sensor data in volts and degrees, as well as custom units with linear scaling. Channels can be viewed on any combination of scalar, strip, and block displays. Once data is acquired and logged, DAQami can be used to review the saved data file.
The DAQami user interface is very flexible and provides the ability to customize display size and location, zoom factor, and channel/trace colors. Users can configure MCC DAQ hardware within the application, selecting sampling rate, start and stop triggers, and sample count.
With its intuitive and easy-to-use functionality, DAQami lets users configure hardware, customize the data display, and begin taking data in minutes.
DAQami currently supports over a dozen MCC hardware devices including the $99, 100-kS/s USB-201 DAQ device. Support for all MCC USB DAQ devices is planned.
DAQami v 0.9 pre-release is available as a free download for a limited time. To enhance evaluation, a simulated MCC DAQ device is included, allowing users to evaluate the software without first investing in the hardware.
