August 19, 2013. Microtek Laboratories has announced the addition of a new Cincinnati Sub-Zero MicroClimate temperature/humidity chamber to increase capacity for environmental simulation testing requirements.
The new MicroClimate programmable test chamber simulates both steady-state and cycling environments from a full range of temperatures from -70oC to 190oC (-22oF to 375oF) and relative humidity conditions (10% to 95% RH). The system also features the CSZ EZT-430i touch screen controller and web-based interface for data-logging and monitoring.
“This new test chamber will allow Microtek to increase capacity and improve turnaround-times for growing demands for SIR, CAF, and ECM test programs,” stated Russ Shepherd, VP of operations at Microtek. He added, “many of our customers are also requesting expedited services on these programs, allowing Microtek to reduce test queues for faster completion of their test programs.”
Microtek Laboratories as experienced an 11% growth in revenue the first half of 2013 as compared with the same period in 2012.
