March 3, 2014. Conduant Corp., a provider of long-duration high-speed recording and playback systems, today introduced the Big River DM-125-3U storage unit, which provides disk-storage resources for PXI Express-based systems. By providing an internal enclosure for online storage, the DM-125-3U compliments the PXIe environment. With capacities of up to 2 TB in a single-slot unit, the DM-125-3U provides abundant storage capacity for test-and-measurement applications with a very small footprint.

The DM-125-3U storage unit features an on-board PCI Express SATA controller and is compatible with major operating systems. It requires only one open slot (4HP). It is available with either a single hard-disk drive (HDD up to 2 TB) or a solid-state drive (SSD up to 512 GB). Capacities range from 128 GB to 2 TB.

“With this new entry into our ever expanding family of PXIe storage devices, Conduant intends to provide our customers with an array of storage alternatives starting with single-slot options and extending to units with up to 8 TB of capacity,” said founder and CEO Ken Owens. “The DM-125-3U is an entry-level, low-cost storage add-on for the test-and-measurement segment that can be ordered conveniently from ConduantExpress.com, our new online store.”

Pricing for the Big River DM 125-3U starts at $2,475.
