Advanced Test Equipment Rentals offers EMC Partner AVI3000
San Diego, CA. Advanced Test Equipment Rentals (ATEC), which serves military, aerospace, communications, semiconductor, consumer-electronics and other sectors, has entered into a partnering agreement with EMC Partner A.G. to carry the AVI3000 indirect lightning generator for rent.
The AVI3000 allows companies to test products for outside electromagnetic interference to help determine whether or not a product or vessel can stand up to the new regulations. The EMC Partner AVI3000 allows for full compliance with DO-160 section 22 and MIL-STD-461G CS117. CS117 is a recently added government contract requirement for testing conducted susceptibility of lightning-induced transients, or if a circuit can survive high level voltage from indirect lightning. CS117 is applicable to aircraft, surface ships, and above-deck equipment.
The AVI3000 allows full compliance up to level 3 for PIN injection and cable bundle tests including single stroke, multiple stroke, and multiple bursts. The unit also includes a touchscreen interface, integrated AC/DC de-couplers, an automated test process, and phase-angle synchronization to 800 Hz, and it is man portable for on-site testing.
“As regulations evolve, products like the AVI3000 help our customers stay in step with standards in the marketplace,” said Ryan Trader, senior account manager at ATEC. “As an industry leader in test equipment rentals, providing the EMC Partner AVI3000 shows our commitment to staying on the cutting edge.”
Advanced Test Equipment Rentals provides opportunities for companies to utilize the latest in test and measurement equipment like the AVI3000 for short and long term projects, allowing organizations to cut down on depreciation costs for older equipment, and it gives companies an opportunity to access new products when they need them.
