In addition to an operating frequency range up to 110 GHz, the PHASEFLEX microwave test assemblies offer torque and crush resistance, as well as stability with flexure and temperature, while remaining flexible with virtually no spring back. As a test example, when the assembly is bent 90° around a 1" radius mandrel, observed change is 4.3° and 0.05 dB at 110 GHz. Phase and amplitude return to their original values when the bend straightens to the original position. Other features include an outer diameter of 0.165" nominal and a typical insertion loss 0f 2.1 dB for a 16-cm assembly at 110 GHz. W. L. GORE & ASSOCIATES INC., Elkton, MD. (800) 445-4673.
