Coupling the PHM-100 portable handheld transducer indicator and TLL tension load cell yields a system for industrial and OEM force measurement and weighing applications. A peak hold feature captures at less than 1 ms. This device operates on a 9-V battery for 60 hours. The TLL is a tension-in-line load cell constructed in stainless steel. It comes in ranges from 5000 to 50,000 lb. Accuracies are consistent with highly accurate strain-gauge-based load cells. The PHM-100 costs under $0.95 in 25,000-unit lots.
