The CP030 and CP031 ac/dc current probes feature a small form factor, high bandwidth, and are capable of measuring up to 30 ARMS. Both the 50-MHz CP030 and 100-MHz CP031 derive power from the company's Probus, which eliminates the need for power supplies and amplifiers that comparable current probes require. They are designed for use with the WaveSurfer, WaveRunner, WavePro, and WaveMaster digital-storage oscilloscopes (DSOs); WaveMaster requires use of an AP-1M adapter. The probes use a combination of Hall effect and transformer technology to make accurate ac, dc, and impulse current measurements. Other shared features include a noise figure of less than 2.5 mARMS and a low-frequency accuracy of +1% of the reading up to 30A and +2% up to 50A. Respective prices for the CP030 and CP031 are $2,290 and $3,690. LECROY CORP., Chestnut Ridge, NY. (800) 453-2769.
