Enhancing functionality of the 6413A UMTS basestation test system, the company adds support for basestations using inverse multiplexed ATM (IMA) configurations. The test system, designed for installing and commissioning, maintenance, faultfinding, performance verification and optimization, is a single-box portable unit. It is capable of completely controlling the basestation via the Iub interface and performs all transmitter, receiver and functional tests without external control equipment or the need for detailed knowledge of its operation and control.
