Hipot testing to all major safety standards—UL, CSA and IEC—can be performed by the Models H111 and H216 Hipot Testers. They can be used for ac and dc withstanding voltage tests of up to 6 kV on a broad range of electrical equipment and components. Up to ten different tests/programs, each containing up to 16 steps, can be stored and initiated at the touch of a button. Remote operation is supported by PLC or RS-232 control. The Model 216 also includes an insulation resistance test feature to 9,900 MΩ at 500 and 1,000 Vdc and up to 1,990 MΩ at 50 and 100 Vdc. Prices start at $1,495. AEMC INSTRUMENTS, Foxborough, MA.
