In addition to analysis chores, the CAS-1000-I2C I²C-bus analyzer performs exercising, debugging, testing, and serial EEPROM programming duties. It also includes a JTAG controller that supports I²C data rates up to 5 Mb/s and, when teamed with optional ScanExpress software, can perform boundary-scan interconnect testing and in-system programming of flash memories and CPLDs. The analyzer includes Windows 2000/XP host software and an API to support third party apps such as LabWindows/CVI and LabView. Additionally, the tool fully supports the SMBus.
