Described as low-cost systems, the turnkey NEXUS family of 802.11 WiFi testing systems provides all the signal generation/analysis hardware and software required for complete testing of 802.11 a, b, g, j, and n wireless devices. The systems rely on the company's CompuGen and CompuScope hardware (arbitrary waveform generator and digitizer cards) and WLAN generation and analysis software. They are capable of generating complex 802.11 testing signals for up-conversion and transmission as well as acquiring and analyzing received and down-converted 802.11 signals. Error vector magnitude measurements are in the realm of -45 dB, and the systems provide true simultaneous conversion clocking and triggering on all channels. Available now with projected lead times of six to eight weeks, pricing starts at $29,995. GAGE APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES, Lockport, IL. (800) 567-4243.
