Debuting as the first 3U PXI card with two 16-bit, vertical-resolution digitizer channels, the dual-channel UX4540 delivers simultaneous sampling rates up to 1 Msamples/s, four input ranges, programmable input offset, and up to 64 Msamples of memory.

With a 500-kHz bandwidth, the card achieves a SNR of 89 dB SNR, SFDR of –89dB, and an ENOB figure of 14 bits. Each channel can be programmed with one of the four input ranges from ±1V to ±10V, and the input signal can be offset adjusted by up to 100% of each range. Other features include internal and external triggering, programmable single-ended or differential input terminations, and a choice of 50? or 1 M? impedances. Software drivers for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP and Linux are included, while drivers for MATLAB, LabVIEW, VEE, and DASYLab are available as cost options. The card is available with 8, 16, 32, and 64 Msamples of memory, priced at $6,034, $6,958, $8,029, and $9,254, respectively.
