Responding to the industry need for an arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) with more flexible signal sources and faster response time, the Model 3152A 100-MS/s, 12-bit, AWG offers high signal source flexibility, dynamic range and bandwidth, with streamlined data transfer and a fast binary command set. It outputs eight standard functions at frequencies up to 50 MHz, with an additional frequency sweep of 10 MHz. The 3152A has a 4096-arbitrary-waveform segment capacity, with a generator output rate of up to 100 million samples per second. The new meter is suited for use in military test systems, multi-tone simulations, and pulse and function generator replacement programs. For streamlined data transfer, the generator performs binary data downloads . The 3152A is priced from $5,395. RACAL INSTRUMENTS, Irvine, CA. (949) 460-6854.
