The APSIN6000 portable RF signal generator specifies a phase noise -128 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz and a 20 kHz offset, harmonics of less than -40 dBc, and a resolution of 0.001 Hz from 9 kHz up to 6.4 GHz. An internal OCXO reference guarantees stability, however the instrument can lock to an external source. Its enclosure measures 6.7" x 4.7" x 8.7" and can be accessed remotely via its LAN interface. Setup and configuration is via GUI software or a standard web browser. Software support includes DLL, GUI, Web-server, and NI-VISA drivers and an internal power sensor enables auto-level control while providing trigger and sweep modes. Price starts at $7,900.
