Paired with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment, the Microgripper test clips perform high-frequency testing at the chip-package level without, reportedly, degrading the signal fidelity or adding noise. The clips target TQFP, PQFP, SSOP, SOIC, and all Gull Wing packages and are available in 2.54 mm to 0.2 mm lead pitches with bandwidths of 1, 3, 5, and 10 GHz. Other features include hands-free connections, a thin clip body that allows multiple grippers to mount side by side, and direct attachment to the differential probe's socket tip.
