Combining what's claimed as the lowest phase-noise levels and the broadest frequency coverage available with reduced pricing is the 68C and 69B El Toro family of high-performance, ultra-low noise microwave/millimeter-wave synthesized signal generators. The line's 42 models include the 6937B synthesized signal generator, which provides frequency coverage of 0.1 Hz to 65 GHz. Key features include high output power, fast analog sweep, and comprehensive modulation. An electronic attenuator enables fast power-level switching, a synthesize architecture that delivers faster frequency switching, and improved frequency/power list modes that leave the signal sources suited for ATE applications.
