A new "virtual" test instrument for power amplifier, software-defined digital radio, and digital signal encoder applications is said to have a dynamic range 9 dB better than any currently available product. The CS2010W is a modular, single-box system that includes 4 GB of memory and a 14-bit resolution.
The instrument offers an open test environment with a choice of functions, such as spectrum analysis, oscilloscope, and digital pattern generation and analysis, along with a series of digital and RF multi-carrier waveform generation capabilities.
