The PXI-5124 12-bit, dual-channel digitizer and PXI-5422 16-bit arbitrary waveform generator (ARB) double the available memory depth and sample rate of the company’s current digitizer and ARB product families. Both instruments extend their SMC architectures by increasing memory depth to 512 MB per channel and sample rates to 200 Msamples/s. The PXI-5124 digitizer specifies a spurious-free dynamic range of 75 dBc and a 150-MHz bandwidth, while the PXI-5422 arbitrary waveform generator delivers a pulse aberration of less than 6% and a rise time of 1.8 ns. Furthermore, users can build stimulus and response systems anywhere in a product’s development flow using SignalExpress interactive measurement software, as well as LabVIEW 7.1 and TestStand. Price for either the PXI-5124 or PXI-5422 starts at $5,995. NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS, Austin, TX. (888) 280-7645.
