Addressing high-speed digital systems, the PN 701182-1 stand-alone bit-error rate tester (BERT) provides an unframed, serial binary output ranging from T1 to STM-1 rates. Outputs can be encoded with applicable zero suppression techniques. Signal levels include differential and single-ended AMI, CMI, ECL, PECL, RS422, and LVDS levels for copper and STM-1 (OC3) for fiber-optic interfaces. All I/O is accessible through rear-panel, concentric twin-axial connectors or industry standard BNCs. The SFP I/O can be electrical, if an Infiniband or Fiber Channel device is present. Single-unit pricing begins under $5,000. TECHNISYS, Woodbury, NJ. (856) 848-9001.
