The Model 2182A Nanovoltmeter is intended for low voltage measurements in research, metrology, nanotechnology and other low voltage/low resistance applications. It minimizes dc drift and noise common to low voltage measurements by using rapid measurement speeds, for example, a 15 nV peak-to-peak measurement at 1-second response times and 40- to 50-nV peak-to-peak measurements at 60 ms. A built-in Delta Mode allows for precision measurements of low resistance material or devices. Rapid measurement speed reduces noise by a factor of two for this measurement compared to earlier models of the instrument. By synchronizing to the ac line frequency, the instrument provides 110 dB rejection to the line and minimizes the effect of ac common-mode currents. Two channels are available for measuring voltage or temperature. Built-in thermocouple calculations for many different types are provided. Price is $2,803. KEITHLEY INSTRUMENTS INC., Cleveland, OH.
